President & Managing Member
Richard Chiang brings extensive financial services experience, having held senior roles at several prominent Wall Street firms. He began his career as an associate at Lehman Brothers, later serving as a Vice President of Investments at Wedbush Securities. He then joined Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., where he advanced to Director, personally managing over $600 million in private client assets.
Mr. Chiang also served as Senior Vice President at Roth Capital Partners LLC, where he engaged technology company executives in corporate venture services. He founded the Redwood Asia Private Equity Fund, a China-focused private equity fund, and was instrumental in securing a $75 million USD commitment from the Shanxi Provincial Government's Shanxi Venture Capital Fund Co., serving as Managing Director of The Redwood Asia Fund LP.
He has significant hands-on experience leading numerous reverse merger transactions involving both domestic and international cross-border deals at premier reverse merger advisory firms. Mr. Chiang is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, holding degrees from The Haas School of Business and the Goldman School of Public Policy.
He has held several securities licenses, including FINRA Series 7, Series 24, Series 63, and the NASAA Uniform Investment Advisors Law Series 65 license.
Mr. Chiang also previously served as an arbitrator with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) for more than five years.
